Together with our colleagues Marge Arkitekter, we were assigned the task of designing the interior for the Stockholm branch library located in the newly developed city district – Hammarby Sjöstad. Luma is primarily a children’s library and is located in the historically classified former Lamp factory – Lumafabriken, where the well-known Luma lamp was produced. The building dates from 1930 and was designed by Artur von Schmalensee and KFAI Arkitekter.
